Ok folks, get in on the 10th Annual Quick Stix Lacrosse Camp. Dates are set, August 12th-15th (Tuesday
to Friday). Same quality staff with some special guests ready to make the experience even better. Still room available
but filling up fast!
All you targets out there,
I want you to know that the third annual Moses Brown Lacrosse Goalie Camp will be held from
June 18th to June 20th at Moses Brown School. Once again, Dennis Dobbyn has put together an outstanding staff all
of whom are or have been goalies. This co-ed camp is a wonderful opportunity for the goalies in your program to receive individual
instruction on all facets of goalie play from coaches who excel in this highly specialized position. I have included
further information and an application for the Camp and I greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word. Email
or call Jennifer Rawson at Moses Brown jrawson@mosesbrown.org. Don't miss this great opportunity to get specialized attention to your game....
Starting my blog for kicks and giggles as my idol Austin Powers would say.
Not sure how to access it yet but it's been posted so look for "Lax for Life" http://schmitzy59.tripod.com/blog/.
An expanded Men's Summer Lacrosse League will take place at the Glen this summer as the demand is there
for at least 4 adult teams and 4 high school teams. Details to follow early spring.
The Metacomets will be expanding the boys program this summer and will add the talented players from
Wrentham, Walpole, Franklin and other area towns to the roster.
Don't forget the Men's 2008 NCAA Tournament Championship Games will be played at Gillette Stadium in late
May. Tickets are going fast so get on the train. Also plan on visiting LaxFest USA (www.laxfestusa.com) during Championship weekend at Gillette. Directly across the street from the stadium will be the Commonwealth Retail Tent,
The Warrior Interactive Zone with all sorts of special deals, clinics, activities, food, fun and excitement for all.
Make sure you visit www.laxfestusa.com for details.
For information on any of the above, feel free to call or email Peter schmitz33@cox.net, 401-714-9207, or 401-383-1459. See you on the field.
